GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Sparks Threats Against Rockstar Games
Alleged GTA 6 gameplay and map footage is circulating online, while a crypto-linked group called CyberLeek has issued threats against Rockstar Games and other publisher

Grand Theft Auto 6 is once again at the centre of an unauthorised leak, with alleged gameplay footage and an image claiming to show the game's full map circulating online.
The latest incident has taken an unusual turn after the material was linked to a cryptocurrency project operated by a group calling itself “CyberLeek”. The group has also published a manifesto criticising Rockstar Games and the wider video game industry.
However, the authenticity and origin of the leaked material have not been independently verified.
What the GTA 6 leak reportedly shows
Two clips said to feature GTA 6 gameplay have appeared online.
One purported video shows protagonist Jason playing basketball outside his home, while another allegedly shows him driving a vehicle and hitting a non-player character. An image claiming to represent the complete GTA 6 map has also circulated.
According to reports, it remains unclear when the footage was recorded, whether it represents a recent version of the game or how the material was obtained.
The alleged leaks have reportedly been traced to a website and cryptocurrency associated with CyberLeek, adding another layer of controversy to an already closely watched GTA 6 development cycle.
Crypto group issues warning to game publishers
CyberLeek's online manifesto goes beyond Rockstar Games and targets broader trends in the gaming industry.
The group criticises the growing move toward digital-only games and pre-orders, as well as what it describes as questionable practices involving downloadable content and paid digital products.
Rockstar's decision to release GTA 6 without a physical disc option is among the issues highlighted by the group.
The manifesto also references Ubisoft's The Crew, which became a major example in the debate over digital game ownership after its online servers were shut down, leaving purchased copies unplayable.
